The Oppo Reno 8 Series is expected to be released on May 23

On May 23, the Oppo Reno 8 series will be released in China. The Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 SE are likely to be included. There might also be a Reno 8 Lite, which would be available in a limited number of markets. A design render of an unidentified Reno 8 series smartphone has leaked a week before its Chinese debut. This claimed render shows the back panel, as well as the camera module and colour possibilities.

MySmartPrice collaborated with tipster Ishan Agarwal to publish the alleged Reno 8 series render. It appears that this Oppo handset will be available in black, blue, green, and gold. A slightly raised camera module with a triple camera arrangement and an LED flash is located on the back panel. The camera module also has the MariSilicon label, implying that, like the previously introduced Oppo Find X5 series, this next series would include an in-house processor for improved camera performance. According to the renderings, the Reno 8 series smartphone will include volume rockers on the left side.

Oppo Reno 8 series launch

According to the invitation issued on Weibo, the Oppo Reno 8 series launch will take place on May 23 at 7pm CST Asia (4:30pm IST).

The Oppo Reno 8 series, on the other hand, is believed to feature the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 SE, according to rumours. The new phones will be the successors of the Reno 7 series, which included the Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G, and Reno 7 SE 5G, and was released in China in November of last year. The Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G were also released in India in February, however they differed from the rest of the series.

Although Oppo has not announced the Reno 8 series’ arrival in India, the normal Reno 8 is expected to arrive by the end of June at the very least. In addition to the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 SE, the new smartphone line might include the Reno 8 Lite, an entry-level Reno phone that would be exclusive to Europe at first. It is said to share many features with the Reno 7 Lite 5G, including a similar look.

OPPO Reno 8 Price

In India, the Oppo Reno 8 smartphone is expected to cost Rs 36,765. The Oppo Reno 8 is expected to be released in China on December 31, 2022. (Expected). The Reno 8 smartphone may be available in the colours Luminous Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Pink.

Leaks from the OPPO Reno 8 device series

Oppo is adding the specialised camera processing unit from the Find X5 Pro to the Reno 8 series this year, as indicated by the Marisilicon branding. When paired with the rumoured Sony IMX766 sensor, this might help boost image processing and video recording capabilities. It’ll be fascinating to see how much of a difference this chip makes in low-light photos.

Most of the characteristics of the Reno 7 Pro, such as the camera arrangement, battery, and general design, are anticipated to be carried over to the Reno 8 Pro. However, the Dimensity 8100 chip, which will deliver a significant performance gain over the Reno 7 Pro’s Dimensity 1200 chip, will be available. The display might be upgraded to a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and the charging technology could be upgraded to the quicker 80W solution found on the Find X5 Pro. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip is scheduled to appear in the vanilla Reno 8 as well as the Dimensity 1300 chip in the Reno 8 SE.
