OPPO K Series Launch in India

The OPPO K 10 will be released in India shortly. Oppo had stated that it would release launch information for the K10 on March 16. However, according to 91Mobiles, the launch will be on March 23. The K10 would be Oppo’s first K-series phone in India, joining the Find, Reno, F, and A-series phones already on the market. In China, the K-series is well-known, and it contains a number of phones. The K10 will be a new phone that will be released in India and China at the same time. It will succeed the K9 and K9 5G phones, which are currently available in China.

On Twitter, Oppo India teased the impending event with the hashtag “Kuriosity. Kreation. Konfusion?” While K10 isn’t specifically mentioned, the implication is apparent. In addition, Flipkart has created a separate website exclusively for the Oppo K10. This implies that, among other places, the K10 will be available on Flipkart.

K Series Details

For quite some time, Oppo has been releasing K series products in China. This contains the Oppo K9x, K9s, K9 Pro 5G, K7x, and other smartphones. The majority of these handsets are already in the sub-Rs 20,000 pricing range. Therefore, we may expect Oppo to introduce the K series in a similar price range in India.

Unreleased posters of the phone were also posted, highlighting its two color choices and triple camera setup with LED flash. A 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C connector appear to be on the bottom edge. A fingerprint scanner on the left side of the phone is also possible. The top half of the back panel, in particular, has a glossy finish and a ’10-K’ markin.

Specifications: OPPO K10

Because the K10 is expected to be the successor of the K9, it’s reasonable to expect improvements in the phone’s specs. The K10 China version is expected to employ a Dimensity 8000 chipset, according to Oppo. This processor offers 4K recording with HDR10+ compatibility and camera resolutions of up to 200 megapixels, but the K10 is unlikely to reach that limit. The Indian version of the K10, on the other hand, may use a 4G CPU.

The K9 has a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the K10 might have a 120Hz or perhaps a 144Hz display. A 64-megapixel primary sensor and two additional sensors are included in the K9 5G’s cameras. The K10 might have the same amount of sensors as the K9, although the 64-megapixel sensor could be replaced with a 50-megapixel sensor. The Oppo K10 has a 32-megapixel front camera. The K9 comes with a 4300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, and while the battery capacity of the K10 may be a little higher, I believe the fast-charging technology will remain at 65W. Other specifics related to the series of the standard are yet unknown.

The Oppo K10 has been seen on China’s 3C certification before. The phone’s model number is PGIM10, and it supports 80W rapid charging. VCB8JACH is the model number for the charger.

History of K Series

OPPO’s K series of smartphones are priced in the midrange and offer an impressive combination of specs, features, and price. The OPPO K1 was the first smartphone in the K series, and it was released in the second half of 2018, with the OPPO K3 following in the first half of 2020. Up to 2020, OPPO K series phones included gradient color back designs, AMOLED displays, mid-range Snapdragon CPUs that could handle some gaming, dual-cameras on the back with 4K video recording, high-resolution selfie cameras, and batteries that were more than 3500mAh.

With the reintroduction of the K series, it would be intriguing to see what Oppo has in store for its Indian audience. The Oppo K1 and K3 have introduced in India a few years ago, and the firm is currently preparing to bring the series back to the nation. The company’s official tweet does not include any features and model names that we may anticipate. It does, however, finish with the words ‘Get ready to live without restrictions. On March 16’, implying that the phone would be released in India on that day. As a result, this date might alternatively be an announcement date rather than a launch date.

The list of OPPO new phones set to come in 2022 is sure to be lengthy. It will include new Reno and ‘F’-series phones (Oppo F21, F21 Pro, F21 Pro+), aimed primarily at the offline channel and at the high-end market. The ‘A’ series (A95G, A55s), is aimed at the budget and mid-range segment. Other models like OPPO Reno 8, OPPO Find N, OPPO Find flip smartphone, OPPO Find X5, and X5 Pro, OPPO K9X. In addition, 5G will be more important than ever.
