New Galaxy A Series Smartphones Expected

This week, Samsung is hosting a new event. According to sources, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy A series smartphones series. These 5G-enabled smartphones will be unveiled on March 17 at yet another Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event. A53 5G and A73 5G  and some other models would be the latest Galaxy smartphones. Last month, during the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung introduced its premium flagship smartphones and tablets. Evan Blass(@evleaks) gave a heads-up on the upcoming releases through Twitter. The teaser doesn’t say what the forthcoming smartphone(s) will be called. It does show the letter ‘A’ in several designs, with one of them implying water resistance.

Samsung will unveil Galaxy A-series smartphones during the event, according to a picture posted by Blass. Samsung, on the other hand, is yet to make an official announcement. Blass’ prediction looks to coincide with the Samsung Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event in 2021. It featured the announcement of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 on March 17, 2021.

It’s still unclear which handsets will be shown next week. Samsung is rumoured to be working on four new Galaxy A-series smartphones. It will include the Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, and Galaxy A23 5G. According to reports, these forthcoming models would have cutting-edge advancements at an inexpensive price. The Samsung Galaxy series will include a number of smartphones in the mid-range price range. The A73 is said to be the most expensive smartphone in the new line.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G andGalaxy A73 5G

According to recent reports, the Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A53 5G would come pre-installed with Android 12-based One UI 4. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is expected to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, whereas the Galaxy A53 5G is expected to have a 6.52-inch display. Both of the devices will have panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the Galaxy A73 5G is powered up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The Galaxy A53 5G is expected to be powered by an Exynos 1200 processor. Three years of system upgrades, as well as four years of security updates, will be provided for the phone.

Both the Galaxy A73 5G & Galaxy A53 5G is believed to include quad rear cameras for optics. A 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors are to be included in the Galaxy A73 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, on the other hand, is said to include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, as well as two 5-megapixel sensors. Both are rumoured to have 5,000mAh batteries and the capability for 25W rapid charging. 

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A33 5G

The Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G are reported to run Android 11 out of the box, unlike the other two expected Galaxy A-series smartphones. The A23 will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, while the A33 will have a 6.6-inch IPS display. Both are supposed to have panels with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC is expected to power the Galaxy A33 5G, while the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC is expected to power the Galaxy A23 5G.

According to reports, the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will have quad rear cameras. The former will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors, according to reports. The Galaxy A23 5G, on the other hand, is said to have a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, as well as two 2-megapixel sensors. Both are rumoured to have 5,000mAh batteries and allow 15W charging.

Comparison: Samsung Galaxy A72 vs Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

The first phone will be released on March 17, 2021. The Samsung Galaxy A72 is priced at Rs. 33248. The second phone will be released on March 8, 2022. (Expected). The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is expected to cost Rs. 29990. The Samsung Galaxy A72 features a bigger 6.7-inch screen than the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, which has a 6.5-inch screen. In both phones, the screen type is Super AMOLED. The display density of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is 407 PPI, whereas the display density of the Samsung Galaxy A72 is just 393 PPI. The Samsung Galaxy A72 features a 20:9 aspect ratio, however the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G does not.

The 64 MP Quad Rear Camera is the same on both of them. Both contain a 32 MP front camera, therefore they are on par in terms of front camera resolution. Both phones use the Android operating system, although the first run version 11 while the second runs version 12.

The Samsung unveiling has been kept under wraps. No official confirmation of the event or even the phone names has been made. There might be additional A series phones released on the same day. The move is said to be Samsung’s response to Apple’s release of the new iPhone SE.
