Huawei has announced the release of a new foldable smartphone with a unique design

In February 2019, Huawei announced the Huawei Mate X, the company’s first foldable phone. The Mate Xs was released in 2020 as an improved version of the previous model. Both gadgets were designed using an outward folding mechanism. In subsequent years, the Mate X2 and Mate X2 4G were released with an inward folding design. The business stated today that it would introduce a new gadget called the Huawei Mate Xs 2 in China on April 28. A Chinese leaker revealed the device’s design and major functions ahead of its release.

Huawei’s promotional poster previews the design of the Mate Xs 2. The device’s name hints that it will feature a design similar to the previous Mate Xs model.

Leaked images details of Huawei Mate Xs 2

The Huawei Mate Xs 2 leaked pictures supplied by Chinese tipster Geek Cao show off the device’s outward folding design. According to the photos, the smartphone will be available in three colours: black, white, and purple.

The display of the Mate Xs 2 has a punch-hole design. In terms of durability, the tipster believes that the screen will feature many buffer layers to shield it from harm caused by drops. The device will most likely be dropped tested to demonstrate its durability.

The device’s back camera configuration will have a 50-megapixel main camera. A 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera will be included. According to the source, it is unknown which 4G CPU will power the smartphone. Previous rumours suggested that it will use the Kirin 9000 4G or Snapdragon 888 4G processor.

According to the device’s TENAA listing, it comes with HarmonyOS 2.0.1 as well as a 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone is supposed to offer 66W fast charging.
