Features

A Lite Experience

To begin, consider the display and stereo speakers. The panel Samsung selected for the Galaxy S6 Lite is adequate, but I had hoped for more. It offers nice viewing angles but is not particularly bright. Outside, it’s also quite reflecting. Unfortunately, I couldn’t discover a way to change the colour profile. When viewing material in landscape orientation, the audio quality is decent, and stereo sound is available. When Dolby Atmos is activated, it makes a significant impact.

Because the S Pen lacks Bluetooth, it cannot be used to control the camera remotely, like the Galaxy Tab S6 can. When the tablet is turned off, you may push the button and tap the display with the S Pen to take notes quickly when the tablet is on standby.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite wakes up quickly, and you can begin writing right away. Palm rejection is good, and you can write with the S Pen while your palm is on the large display. Handwriting recognition is included in the Notes app, allowing you to transform whatever you’ve penned into text.

Multitasking was a pleasure on the tablet, and the 4GB of RAM was more than enough to keep the bulk of programmes in memory. Split screen worked effectively, and the tablet remained responsive even after simultaneously launching five pop-up windows. Face recognition was one feature that did not perform as expected.

Might have Longer Loading Time

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite performed admirably in my basic usage of viewing YouTube videos and playing games like Clash Royale and Idle Miner Tycoon. Although heavier programmes and games were longer to load than expected, I did not notice any slowdown. Asphalt 9: Legends was playable with the basic settings, however I noticed some stuttering in a few races. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is capable of casual gaming, but it does not deliver the finest gaming experience when it comes to demanding games.

I connected to the Internet without using Wi-Fi by using a cellphone SIM. I could also use the tablet to make phone calls, which were automatically routed to the stereo speakers. This isn’t great because anyone close by can hear your conversation.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite supports regular S Pen functionalities including Air Command and Samsung Capture. You can bring up a floating menu with shortcuts for Smart select, Smart write, Live messaging, AR doodle, and Notes by pressing the button on the S Pen while it’s near the display. You may also use this area to create shortcuts to your favourite programmes.

The gadget has very little bloatware loaded, which is a nice thing. Along with Netflix and YouTube Music, you get a few Samsung, Google, and Microsoft applications pre-installed. Also, samsung and Google have partnered to provide four months of YouTube Premium with the smartphone.
