Infinix has introduced the Note 11 series in India, which includes two smartphones, InfinixNote 11 as well as Note 11S. These two versions are aimed at the sub-Rs. 15,000 market and include competent hardware. In this review, I’ll concentrate on the Infinix Note 11, which would be the less expensive of the two. The Infinix Note 11 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, and even a 5,000mAh battery, but does it provide the most value for money?

Therefore, the Mediatek Helio G88 chipset is combined with 4GB of RAM in the Infinix Note 11. Thus, the phone has 64GB of eMCP storage that can be expanded using the dedicated microSD card slot.

The UI has been customized, and a number of apps have been put on the device. However, I found a handful of the standard applications to be annoying, constantly sending alerts throughout the day.

However, to clear up space on this smartphone, I recommend deleting applications you won’t use and turning off alerts for spammy apps. Thus, swiping right from the home screen brings you to Infinix’s Zero Screen, which displays recently used applications and a news feed.
Cameras
Since manufacturers have been reducing camera sensors in smartphones in this sector to keep prices low, the Note 11 is no different. The Note 11 features a triple camera arrangement, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a depth sensor, and an “AI sensor.” The primary camera takes 12.5-megapixel images by default, but you can switch to 50-megapixel shots by touching a fast toggle. Thus, this phone sports a 16-megapixel camera in the dewdrop notch for selfies, with an LED flash nicely disguised in the top bezel. The camera app is clear and simple to use; you can quickly switch between shooting modes.
However, daylight photographs taken with the Infinix Note 11 seemed flat and lacking in depth. Colors were washed out, and things at a distance were difficult to recognize. Photos captured at the full 50-megapixel resolution compressed 13MB in size but faced the same difficulties as those shot at the pixel-binned level, making them unsuitable for cropping due to a loss of clarity.
Design
Therefore, the Infinix Note 11 appears to have been designed with only a ruler, judging by its straight lines. However, this distinguishes it from other hefty smartphones in the cheap market. When you hold the Note 11, the corners are curled so that they don’t dig into your palm. Thus, the large display dominates the front, which sports a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera. The top and sides have small boundaries, but the chin is broader.
The plastic frame is completely flat on all sides. The power and volume controls are on the right, while the SIM tray is on the left. The top of the frame is empty, while the bottom features a 3.5mm headphone connector and a USB Type-C port.
Performance
Therefore, the crisp AMOLED display on the Infinix Note 11 makes watching videos more enjoyable. Moreover, it offers superb viewing angles and is bright enough to use outside. I couldn’t discover a way to change the display’s output, however, there is an Eye Care option that switches the display to Reading mode. The Infinix Note 11 includes an Always-On display, but it is turned off by default. Therefore, the dual speaker arrangement is quite loud for a small space.
Moreover, with the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition, the Infinix Note 11 proved easy to unlock. I had no slowdowns when using the phone. It may also simply switch between various apps. Thus, in terms of synthetic benchmarks, Note 11 achieved a score of 182,757 on AnTuTu. It also received 371 and 1,336 points in Geekbench 5’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Therefore, the Infinix Note 11 achieved 8.2fps and 40fps on the GFXBench Car Chase and T-Rex scenarios, respectively.

Verdict
Moreover, making a low-cost smartphone is difficult, and manufacturers frequently have to make compromises to achieve competitive pricing. The camera performance of the Infinix Note 11 isn’t as excellent as what you can expect from some of the competitors, and you may need more than one effort to capture a nice image at times.
However, if you can overlook the subpar camera performance, the Infinix Note 11 is an excellent buy. Thus, the sharp AMOLED display and twin speakers make watching films and playing games enjoyable. Infinix has also added some beneficial software features to the phone, however, it also comes with a few spammy stock applications.
